Signs You're Addicted To Stress

Signs You're Addicted To Stress

Modern Day Life Is Stressful!

Let's chat about specific natural herbs and energetic practices that help to calm the nervous system and put you back in control of your reality.

Me when I consciously breath and remind myself life is wonderful.

Do You Ever Look Around, And Say What The Heck Is Going On?

Humanity drastically shifted when we left rural areas and moved into the city. We disconnected from one of our greatest medicines and teachers: Nature. When you logically analyze modern day life with your mental, physical, and spiritual health in mind, you notice we live in a broken world. But, guess what? You are not bound to the circumstances and limitations of your past and of this world. You free yourself through present moment awareness and remembering that:  You are the creator of your reality.

BUT, you cannot create your reality in a state of stress. Whether stress is conscious or unconscious, it still puts the body in a state of fight or flight. Reducing the higher mind and affirming the use of the animal mind. This cuts us off from the supply of divine wisdom, feeling safe, and the truth of the present moment. So, step one is to recognize how often you unconsciously fall into comfort patterns and thoughts of stress.

Examples:

-Procrastinating

-Constantly Multi-tasking

-Shallow unconscious breathing

-In A Normalized State Of Rush

-Negative Self-Talk, Forgetting The Power Of Self Talk & Inner Dialogue

-Overworking

-Overcommitting

-People pleasing

-Victim Mentality, Believing You Aren't In Control

-Staying In Unhealthy Relationships Or Environments

-Fixation On Worst Case Scenario

-Caffeine Dependency

-Reliving Scenes Or Memories Of The Past

-Avoiding Conflict Or Uncomfortable / Necessary Conversations

-Escapism through: Substances, mindless social media scrolling, overeating, and entertainment

Breaking unconscious patterns and thinking that induces stress requires consistent self awareness, and mindfulness.

PRACTICES FOR STRESS REDUCTION:

Mindfulness: Take note of when you begin to slip into familiar comfort or pain zones that bring feelings of anxiousness or stress. When you notice yourself in these states, reflect and ask yourself, what previous thought or experience triggered this? What was I doing or not doing that brought this energy forth?

Diaphragmatic Breathing: Deep belly breathing calms the nervous system and reduces perceived stress. Breathe in slowly through the nose, drawing air into your belly, hold for a few moments and and exhale slowly through the nose. Focus on the exhale bring longer than the inhale or to simulate the parasympathetic nervous system or rest and digest.

Humming: Did you know humming activates the vagus nerve? The vagus nerve promotes calm and relaxation within the body.

Gratitude: Consistently begin and end your day with writing ten things you're grateful for and watch your stress and nervousness dissipate. Whatever you focus on expands and you bring more of. Focus on the good and bring more good into your life. Simple, but it must be practiced and felt in order to reap the benefits.

Perspective Shift: Challenge and trials are unavoidable in life. Train yourself to laugh and find excitement in the hard parts of life! My mentor taught me, whenever negative thoughts or experiences happens - verbally respond, "AND I LOVE THAT!".

Instead of allowing the outside world and negative heavy thoughts control you, you can control your reality when you intentionally shift the way you look at things. Change the way you look at things, and what you look at will change. Look at a day full of errands and task as stressful and it will be stressful. Look at the same day with excitement and do your task with joy and you'll have the best day ever! How you do things is more important than what you do.

SLOW DOWN. I will not be explaining this deeply. Practice slowing down and being mindfully present go about your day. Get out of autopilot and come back to the power of NOW.

Connection To Earth Is The Answer To All Things!

The Earth bestows wisdom to those who connect to it, and the most beautiful part of this wisdom is that it's not communicated through words, it's an energetic transmission that can positively effect your perspective, daily choices and even your DNA. Through lifestyle choices, food consumption, and an untrained mind, people are getting negatively programmed left and right. Society is creating a new breed of human that is dependent, emotionally stunted, dopamine addicted, and disconnected from their body, and intuition.
